Have meaningful impact as a Senior Business Analyst
YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst for our DIA Growth Experience and Delivery team. In this role you will work closely with various stakeholders to create great customer experience. This role is about creating operational efficiency by optimising customer journeys. You will be working to create deliverable artifacts from solution concepts and making sure the end-to-end customer journeys for our NRMA customers are efficient and effective.
This role is the key liaison between business subject matter experts and agile development teams. The role contributes to refine the solution to optimally meet business needs within known constraints (time, budget, quality, regulations, and others)
Some of your key responsibilities will include: -
- Leadership of the analysis function and systems within larger initiatives/projects to deliver enhanced customer and business outcomes.
- Identify, understand, analyse and communicate the customer process and information requirements of the overall solution, through business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications, describing the process and conceptual information requirements of a business requirement via appropriate methods, models, and descriptions.
- Provide analytical direction and supervision for larger pieces of work or multiple pieces of work.
- Review and contribute to technical design, describing the solution to fulfil functional specification to ensure traceability to business requirements.
- Develop cost and effort estimates on the proposed solution and analysis effort including implementation and costs of operation, or support team estimate processes.
- Identify and formally capture initiative/project risk and issues.
- Contribute to the quality and completeness of test cases and other relevant artefacts
- Contribute to the quality of business requirements, ensuring all functional specification s and non-functional requirements are defined and captured.
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity for a candidate based in New Zealand and Australia.
ABOUT YOU
You should be a great team player with following skills and experience: -
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in customer journeys.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer solutions to complex challenges.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management
- Experience with user experience design and the ability to translate user needs into smooth, intuitive interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
