Job description
The role
Reporting to the Manager, Office of the Executive Director (OED), PHI. You will provide high-level business support services and advice to leaders across the Branch.
Provide advice, technical expertise and operational support to the branch leadership team and business lines on a wide variety of business matters, including HR, finance, procurement and contract management.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
* Demonstrated understanding of and experience with business and administrative processes related to financial and budget management, human resource management, travel, workplace health and safety, procurement, contract management and information technology.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and provide expert analysis of financial and human resource management reports to assist decision making, including using enterprise systems and software applications.
* Well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to prepare very good quality written business communications.
* Demonstrated ability to be responsive and well organised and to manage time and competing priorities effectively.

The Branch provides public health information systems used across Queensland Health. PHI plays a key role in state-wide surveillance, monitoring and reporting for public health, within both Queensland and Federal Governments.
