Job description

Programs contribution is to deliver innovation and accountable program development and management for the Department's investment in housing and homelessness services.
What you will be doing- Deliver high quality advice and coordination support to the executive and senior management on a range of topics within critical timeframes.- Handle a high volume of requests for information as a result of enquiries made to the office.- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling all knowledge and information relating to enquiries received by the office.- Coordinate functions within the Office of the Executive Director including working with the executive assistant to effectively manage the EDs meetings and daily schedule.- Undertake high level research and analysis of information relevant to allocation projects.- Prepare submissions, reports and correspondence on sensitive and diverse issues, including the coordination, development and implementation of Cabinet and Parliamentary requests as directed.- Participate as part of a cohesive, high performing team in which all members' contributions are valued and encouraged.- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.What we are looking for- Self direct and effectively manage new and unexpected events, demonstrating judgement about when to escalate issues.- Written and verbal communication is clear and concise. You model open communication, actively and attentively listening to others.- Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to ensure that their needs are met.- Rigorously research and analyse information relevant to tasks.- Model ethical behaviour and consistently apply those ethical standards to self and others.Mandatory requirements- NilApplications will remain current for 12 months.
