It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system. About the Role The primary focus of the Senior Executive Services Officer is to coordinate the preparation and approval of executive and ministerial correspondence and briefing notes. This involves ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and clarity of documents, aligning seamlessly with the Delivery Authority's approved templates, Style Guide, and relevant Queensland Government guides and handbooks. The position also requires active participation in the preparation of reports and materials related to Cabinet and Parliament. In addition, the role encompasses providing support in reporting and secretariat functions, encompassing tasks such as preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating papers and presentations for Board and Committee meetings. The position will play a crucial role in maintaining effective records and setting up workflows, employing document control tools like TRIM. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing diverse responsibilities and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Work in accordance with the Delivery Authority safety requirements and be consistent with its values and behaviours. Coordinate the receipt, allocation, response and finalisation of all correspondence and briefing requests coming into the Delivery Authority, as well as the Chief Executive’s internal briefing, utilising the Delivery Authority’s electronic document management and record system. Contribute towards ensuring the Delivery Authority’s responses to all external and internal stakeholder correspondence are aligned with the Delivery Authority’s business, are of a high standard and represent the organisation effectively. Provide quality assurance of correspondence and briefing responses by critically reviewing documents ensuring accuracy and relevancy of information. Manage and coordinate the flow of Cabinet, Parliamentary and Executive Council briefings and related documents between the Delivery Authority and other government agencies.
