The Consumer and Business Bank (CBB) Institute is the gateway for learning and development for all employees within the CBB division. This role is responsible for partnering with the Head of Institute to execute on the divisional capability strategy. We are open to location for this role, it can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with the Head of Institute, Faculty Heads and sponsors to agree divisional capability priorities
- Leading a squad of learning specialists to execute against agreed capability priorities
- Scoping and developing the annual capability plan for the division
- Resourcing and work prioritisation of the team through the governance forums and QBR process
- Working with the Head of Institute and sponsors to deliver effective learning interventions for agreed priorities
- Collaborating with business leads, faculty and other key representatives to scope & define capability requirements
- Providing recommendations and guidance to business partners on the best option available to solve capability needs

What do I need?
A deep background in learning and development is desirable either as a formal qualification and/or practical experience working and designing learning solutions for groups or individuals. You will have an understanding of all elements of learning, designing, analysing, and developing and be able to identify a need for learning and capability. Your ability to drive and implement key learning initiatives across the division will be essential and ideally you will have experience working within large, complex organisations with a track record of delivering business outcomes.
An ability to build strong stakeholder relationships is essential. You will possess strong problem-solving skills and excellent professional, commercial and personal judgement with the ability to think and act strategically. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to operate in a changing environment. Experience in project management particularly working in agile environments would be beneficial.
