Senior Cargo Customer Services Officer
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Senior Cargo Customer Services Officer full time shift work, to join the Singapore Airlines Cargo Team at Sydney Airport. The Senior Cargo Customer Services Officer position supports the Cargo Customer Services Supervisor to oversee cargo operations of all SIA services from Sydney.
The successful applicant will be responsible for export cargo reservations acceptance and processing, flight planning, pre/post flight procedures, data processing within the accounts package, liaising with departments locally and internationally to ensure maximum utilisation of capacity and administration duties as required.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cargo Customer Services Officer role.
- Good knowledge of cargo operations and cargo reservations.
- Good understanding of the Montreal Conventions with regards to cargo claims liability.
- Administrative experience.
- Good time management skills.
- Proficient organisational, numeric, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with confidence using a range of in-house software packages.
- Good knowledge of all MS Products (MS Word, Excel, Power-point).
- Basic understanding of Company Corporate goals
- Security and OH&S Awareness
- Maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (A.S.I.C) for Australian Airports.
- Car and driver’s licence required.
- Dangerous Goods qualified.
- Ability to work flexible hours
All candidates must be eligible to work in Australia, as evidenced by Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency status. The position has a salary range of A$64,000 to $79,000. The starting salary may be adjusted to commensurate with experience and includes superannuation.
