Overview

The role of Senior Case Manager is the face of our claims service for injured workers and clients. We are looking for driven individuals to join our team who have an interest in building a career in work cover, and providing a quality claims service in your day to day role. Your passion for servicing your community, phone-based claims management and strategic thinking for claims strategy will see you thrive in this role. Your ability to work with multiple systems in a fast paced and ever-evolving environment will add to your success.  

This role may interest you if you are studying, working and/or qualified in Insurance, Allied Heath, Psychology, Social Work, Law (or similar disciplines). Our Senior Case Manager role may be what you are looking for to utilize your skills and qualifications in a new field.

How you'll make an impact
  • Ensuring all customers receive the support and guidance they require for injured workers to recover and make a safe and sustainable return to work through the effective support to the claims and premium operations
  • Delivering high quality customer service to all stakeholders and demonstrating a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for our customers
  • Applying a person-centered management approach focusing on injured workers’ needs, setting recovery goals and supporting them to achieve these
  • Reviewing requests and medical treatment - assessing its reasonableness to help aid injured workers recovery and return to work
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, medical professionals and Occupational Rehabilitation Providers throughout the injured workers recovery journey
  • Working collaboratively and proactively with all stakeholders, such as medical professionals to facilitate positive recovery, return to health and RTW outcomes
  • Review ongoing entitlements in line with the legislation 

About you

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • An aptitude for working within a dynamic and fast paced role
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury Management concepts relating to Workers Compensation Scheme in Victoria and/or Claims Management/Workers Compensation experience (ideal)
  • Tertiary or industry specific qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or experience in a related position
