AE Smith has an opportunity for aSenior Chiller Technician to join the team located in Sydney Metro. Some of your responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service, maintenance, and commissioning of various Chiller Plants.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork related to the work performed.
- Foster and maintain professional relationships with technicians and apprentices, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in pairs or smaller teams.
- Adhere to all safety, company, and statutory policies and procedures at all times.
- Actively engage in company-facilitated training and safety meetings as required.
- Provide on-site training for technicians/apprentices and supervise their work as assigned by the company.
- Identify and bring in new client leads for small service repairs.
Work with the latest tools and technologies in the HVAC industry. We provide you with the resources needed to excel in your role and contribute to innovative solutions.
To excel in this role, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience or exposure to commercial HVAC Chillers.
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Current restricted Electrical License.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Construction Induction Card (white card).
- Current ARC License.
- Experience in A/C maintenance and installations of various types.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Technical competence.
- Ability and confidence to work independently and in a team environment.
- Positive and proactive approach to safety
