Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain both internal and external networks that support critical business applications.
- Troubleshoot network issues promptly and document solutions.
- Configure and optimize Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan network upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure all new products are installed correctly, configured accurately, and thoroughly tested before production deployment.
- Make informed decisions regarding network security measures, data protection, and encryption.
- Provide technical assistance to end-users experiencing network-related problems.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on the company’s networking infrastructure.
- Create detailed reports and diagrams to document network operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in networking technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cisco Network Engineer, with expertise in IP routing, switching, and wireless access points.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco APIC-CLUSTER-M4, APIC-CLUSTER-L4, Catalyst C8300, C9400, Nexus 9300 series switch, and Nexus 9K ACI & NX-OS Leaf/Spine.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
