About the Role:

We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.

Our Brisbane QLD team is currently seeking a Senior Civil Drafter to join us in a permanent, full-time office-based role.

This role would suit a Civil Drafter who has previous experience with mining, waste management, local roads, and urban development.

Key responsibilities and activities include:

• Drafting of projects in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

• Preparation of design drawings in AutoCAD.

• Undertake accurate, timely and quality presentation of civil engineering documentation including preparation of Bills of Quantity and Detailed Drawings.

• Ongoing reviews of drafting standards.

• Mentor cadet and other drafting staff in adherence to drafting standards and preparation of drawings.

• Work in partnership with a broader design team to deliver a coordinated product.

• Adherence to our Quality Management System.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience requirements include:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar Civil Drafting role.

• Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3d to produce Civil drawings and documentation to a high standard.

• Demonstrated experience in drafting of civil/mining infrastructure such as dams, embankments and drainage works, roadways, stormwater, landfills, cover systems etc.

• Experience in the development of drafting standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the production of quality outputs.
