Form of workOur client has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to join a high-performing team at their Perth CBD Office, initial 12 month contract. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary project team working on a sustaining capital project for a tier 1 mining client. In this, you will be working on a large-scale and complex mining asset with a focus on water-related scopes of work while taking on initial key deliverables such as:
- Develop and implement project controls, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Write reports and scopes of work, and develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor progress and identify potential problems with respect for budgets, schedules, and engineering standards.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, and provide estimating scheduling, and reporting.
- Provide stakeholder management and maintain positive client relationships through conducting work in a professional and productive manner.
About you:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in Project Engineering
- Experience within Mining, engineering design, and sustaining capital project environments.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
