Your new role
As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will deliver a superior claims service, determining policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating resolutions. Other key aspects of your role will include:
  • Working collaboratively within the team to pro-actively manage your own portfolio general liability claims to a successful resolution.
  • Managing the litigation process in conjunction with our Legal Panel
  • Building strong and meaningful client and stakeholder relationships by demonstrating positive lines of communication and displaying an empathetic approach that aligns QBE values.
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to minimize claims cost and leakage, and actively participating in and promoting the risk management culture within the team.
  • Supporting and mentoring Claims Specialists on technical and complex matters as required.
  • Full job profile will be provided at interview stage.

  • Experience handling general liability and employment disputes claims.
  • Strength in collaboration and supporting other viewpoints – a team player.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and negotiate.
