Located in the Parkville Biomedical Precinct, APC offers an integrated approach to care, combining treatment, research, education, and support in a state-of-the-art environment. Due to continued organisational growth, the APC has a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team.
Role Overview:
The APC seeks a dedicated Part-Time Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our Clinical Trials team. The Senior Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for supporting the provision of safe, robust, and compliant practices throughout all clinical trials to ensure the production of high-quality research and results while prioritising participant safety.
The Senior Clinical Research Nurse will provide nursing expertise and support the set-up, operational conduct and finalization of Clinical Research trials, compliant with ICH GCP and ensures that participant safety is paramount throughout the process.
In addition, the Senior Clinical Research Nurse will also be responsible for the provision of participant care and clinical and regulatory compliance throughout the clinical trial process. This role involves patient recruitment and screening, data collection, and working collaboratively with our team of medical specialists, urology nurses and nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals to deliver top-tier patient care, with an immediate focus on delivering a substantial radiopharmaceutical prostate cancer trial.

To be successful in this position you will have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in clinical trial nursing will be highly regarded. In addition, you will have well developed judgement and decision-making skills to prioritise conflicting demands and meet deadlines. You will also be a team player with the ability to support others in the team as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- AHPRA Registration (essential)
- GCP training (essential)
- Strong medical research nursing expertise (essential)
- Urology / oncology / genitourinary cancer experience (desirable)
- Expertise in grant writing (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based care.
