An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Senior Clinical Support Officer to join the Department of Emergency Medicine Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- Responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative support to the Clinical Director and Consultants and Medical Staff within the Clinical Department.
- Performance of this position operates with a high degree of independence whilst maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the Unit and other members of multidisciplinary teams.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 10th June 2024 for 12 months.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $110,851 p.a., comprising salary between $88,187 - $97,156 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from 10th June 2024 for 12 months) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
