Clinical Director Support Officer , Queensland Health

Your opportunity Manage and coordinate all non-clinical operating functions of the relevant Clinical Practice to ensure the smooth and efficient service delivery of quality service within the Mackay HHS. Provides high level and confidential secretarial and administrative support to ensure Clinical Director and Medical Team deliver on delegated accountabilities within a demanding operating environment. This position reports directly to the Business Services Manager/Clinical Director. This position has a direct/indirect relationship with: Clinical Director, Operations Director, Medical Officers and medical staff throughout the MHHS. Business Services Manager and support staff across Queensland Health. Range of relevant external stakeholders e.g. Police, Ambulance, Emergency Services, private GPs, Medical Specialists, Department of Health, Community, Patient Complaints, Suppliers etc. This position holds no financial delegation. Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
