This is your chance to step into a Financial Services industry - Specifically the Superannuation Domain which focuses on helping Australians securing their financial wellbeing by delivering business initiatives, developing & supporting our platforms to better serve our clients.
You'll play a vital role in working closely across the organisation to provide cyber governance and assurance over IFL's cloud environment, including the various platforms and workloads.
- Review Cloud Platforms and Services to ensure that they meet IFL security control objectives
- Implement security measures and protocols in the cloud.
- Review Workloads to ensure that they meet IFL control objectives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical security documentation for the Cloud Security team.
- Identify recommendations and follow up with Workload teams to address them
- Coordinate, collaborate and manage with workload teams to ensure that Workload reviews are completed, and issues addressed .
- Exhibit proficient knowledge of Cloud Service Providers, including their features, security practices, and implications.
- Work closely with Security Operations to manage security operational alerts derived from Cloud Platforms and Services.
A little bit about you
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field. Master's degree or advanced certifications (e.g., security and cloud focused, such as CISSP, CCSP) preferred.
- Extensive experience in IT security, with a significant portion focused on Cloud Security.
- Extensive knowledge of key cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security services.
- Proven expertise in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation strategies for cloud environments.
- Exceptional analytical thinking for intricate security problem-solving.
- Cloud Security Posture Management ( CSPM) experience is required.
- Leadership abilities to guide incident response efforts and mentor junior team members.
- Ethical responsibility when handling sensitive data and making security decisions.
- Strong decision-maker under pressure, balancing security with operational needs.
