Senior Commercial Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Advisor with Defence project experience, who will be responsible for the commercial services in the acquisition stages.In this role you will be responsible for providing support to the business team, relating to the development and negotiation of ongoing contracts; as well as formulating acquisition and sustainment implementation strategies within the project scope.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert contractual advice on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions
• Identify commercial and enterprise risks and determine appropriate courses of action
• Design and support a business-wide procurement strategy
• Lead complex contract negotiations and work closely with senior stakeholders and other contractors
• Establish and provide support services to the establishment and management of Defence export approvals
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual, legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated Commercial, Contract and Procurement experience
• 10+ years' experience
• Recent experience working in CASG or other Defence project environments
• Managing or leading commercial activities using Strategic and Support ASDEFCON templates
• Currently hold an active NV1 or higher security clearance
