The Role
As Bega Group expands and grows in the international market, spreading our great products around the globe, we are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support our Bega Food International team and unlock value to drive profit.
You will become a trusted advisor and utilise your ability to analyse data, drive growth, identify opportunities, and provide insights to the Bega Food International teams, to understand how our current operations translate into financial performance and influence our forecast.
Your deep understanding of food pricing, Route to Market, and new product launches will support Bega's strategic operational improvement activities.
This unique opportunity operates on a hybrid model - three times a week at our office in Docklands and the rest at your home office.
Responsibilities
- Establish solid, trust-based relationships with the Bega Food International teams to understand the international market, how our products travel globally, and our third-party partners' operations. Maximise opportunities to deliver continuous growth to Bega Group.
- Product pricing management across retail pricing, distributor pricing, and distributor margins, including involvement in negotiation planning.
- Identify and quantify performance improvement opportunities and plans to meet and beat budget targets.
- Conducting financial reporting, including month-end and monthly planning processes
- Provides technical guidance on analysing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision-making.
About you
- Degree-qualified in accounting, economics, business, or Finance.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a high attention to detail
- A solid background within FMCG, preferably working with international teams, is a requirement.
- Proven track record of supporting finance-decision to maximise and improve commercial outcomes.
- Able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders while still ensuring accountability for performance.
