Your new role
As a Senior Communications Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering effective communication strategies. Your responsibilities will include crafting compelling and concise communications for both internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, managing communication channels (including social media and online platforms), and supporting the development and implementation of communication plans.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Communications role, ideally within the public sector.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic communications plans.
- Strong written skills, with the ability to create engaging content and tailor messages to different audiences and channels.
- High-level digital skills, including experience in managing websites and social media platforms.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure while handling multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder relations capabilities, ideally demonstrated in an advisory role.
- Possession of a valid National Police Clearance (NPC) or the ability to obtain one.
