6-month Senior Online Communications Advisor role in a State Government department commencing immediately
Your new company
You will be working with a dynamic and innovative team in a Government department who are committed to delivering high-quality services to the public, whilst promoting and attracting stakeholders to their department's key offerings.
Your new role
The Senior Online Communications Advisor will be responsible for the development and coordination of digital communication channels ensuring they are accessible, accurate, and customer focused to attract and further grow the departments networks.
The role will oversee the delivery and evolution of digital communications to reach more people, build greater awareness of the Departments offerings and build strong relationships with audiences.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Experience in Online Communications, digital marketing and managing social media channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders at varying levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in developing and implementing communication and media strategies
- Experience in developing proactive and reactive media statements and releases
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- A current National Police Check (NPC)
