Department for Health and Wellbeing – Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner (HCSCC)
Salary: $97,022 to $102,626 – ASO6 – Full Time / Ongoing appointment
Overview:
The Senior Media and Communications Advisor reports to the HCSC Commissioner and provides a range of functions to support the work of the Office of the Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner.
The Senior Media and Communications Advisor’s key role is to support the Commissioner in managing the reputation and public relations of the HCSCC. The role will lead, develop and implement a local program of state-based strategic communications, media and community training/engagement programs; provide communications advice and support HCSCC staff.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Special Conditions
Some work outside of normal office hours will be required including actively participating in HCSCC promotional activities.
Some intra and interstate travel necessitating in overnight absences maybe required.
