We're searching for a seasoned professional to join our Corporate Affairs team in the newly created Senior Communications Advisor role, managing TasNetworks' brand and reputation both internally and externally.
As a Senior Communications Advisor, you will have exposure to developing communications plans, owning the management and actioning of workflow requests by assigning jobs, managing the TasNetworks website and social media channels and delivering targeted communications campaigns and events that increase brand and stakeholder value.

About youTo be considered for this role, you will ideally have degree qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Commerce Public Relations or Media Studies, coupled with your demonstrated experience in the effective development and delivery of high value communications programs across traditional and digital media, whilst managing conflicting priorities.
Your advanced skills in communications content development including the ability to present complex material in plain English that is accessible to a variety of audiences, combined with your demonstrated experience of making sound and timely communications decisions at pace and under pressure within a complex operating environment will set you up for success in this role.
The successful candidate will also have -
- A genuine passion for improving internal and external communication processes
- Demonstrated experience in achieving business process improvements in communications through the use of data, consultation and engagement
- Experience in the development of communications for infrastructure, energy, resources or a related field
- An innovative and influential strategic thinking mindset
