About the role:
The role of Senior Communications Specialist with IntoWork Australia is an exciting career opportunity for an energetic individual to join a high performing team and take the next step in your Communications career.
Reporting to the National Communications and Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for leading strategic internal and external communications and content for the IntoWork Australia Group, in line with organisational and business objectives.
Your team will coordinate internal communications and external communications and public relations across the IntoWork Group, provide copy writing and content creation support, and support advocacy to position IntoWork as an industry leader in the employment, skills, education and support sector.
Your main responsibilities will included:
- Craft impactful communication through strategic planning to deliver compelling content
- Effectively build and manage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders in businesses and sub-brands
- Leading content creation for press releases, leadership announcements, managing various campaigns
- Represent businesses and IntoWork Australia on external forums, networks and functions as required
- Provide reports, presentations and information as needed for organisational monthly reporting/board updates
About you:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual with the following background:
- 5 + years of communications expertise with in-depth knowledge of principles, best practices and emerging trends
- Experience developing PR strategies
- Leadership experience highly regarded
- Proficient leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, demonstrating a commitment to best practices and innovation
- Background in journalism highly regarded
- Experienced in managing multiple projects at once and delivering program deadline
