ABOUT TANDEM
Tandem exists to give a voice to Victorians who support those with mental health challenges.
For 30 years, we have been standing for the rights of families and carers in the Mental Health and Wellbeing System.
We work with our members and partners to build a better Mental Health and Wellbeing System that:
• shifts away from treating people as isolated individuals to recognise that people thrive when their significant relationships are healthy and supported,
• recognises and supports the roles and needs of families, carers and supporters, and
• supports and respects the carer lived experience workforce as key drivers of this change.
We are the Victorian peak body – and the only organisation - working solely for family, carers and supporters in mental health.
Most of our staff have experience of caring for or supporting someone with Mental Health Challenges or participants on NDIS. We bring our experiences and understanding to the work we do to change the system for the better.
First Nations people and people with diverse cultural backgrounds and lived experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.
Any questions? Let’s talk - call Kate Lester or Tessa Young on 03 8803 5*** or by email at ****@tandemcarers.org.au, using the subject line: Senior Media and Communications Officer enquiry via Ethical Jobs.
