The Role:
As the Senior Community Engagement Lead, your key role is to connect SMCT with the communities we serve. You'll coordinate both internal and external engagement activities, ensuring they align with our objectives. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of these initiatives, contributing to our community and employee engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Community Engagement plans.
- Coordinate event logistics and communications.
- Engage with stakeholders for successful event production.
- Oversee the use of the Community Engagement platform.
- Analyze post-activity data for improvement.
- Deliver internal presentations for employee events.
- Establish effective governance processes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in Community Engagement, Communications, or Marketing.
- Understanding of the IAP2 public participation spectrum.
- Experience in managing projects and budgets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Tertiary qualification in a related field.
- Training in the IAP2 public participation spectrum.
