Role: API Developer
Skills /Competencies:
- Microservice Development using Spring boot.
- Need to have Strong Java programming skills.
- Demonstrable experience in using Spring framework and programming using Java, Javascript, NodeJS, RESTful APIS, JSON, webservices.
- Experience in delivery using tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, Junit, Test Automation, Docker, code review tools.
- Great debugging skills for both client and server-side components.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver to timelines and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and peers.
Essential skills:
- Knowledge of Banking and Financial services domain is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Application Development principles and Patterns/models.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile Methodology and usage of Kanban, Sprint boards, Agile ceremonies, etc.
- Working knowledge in DevOps model.
Preferred skills:
- Core Java/J2EE/REST API/Spring MVC/Sprint Boot/XML/Hibernate
- Must have experience in REST API and Spring and Dev Ops (Maven/Bit Bucket/automated build)
- Good in Java Security Concepts
- Good in database. Experience in PL/SQL, SQL Server
Additional Skills:
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
