Overview
A Senior Consultant's primary role is to assist in design and execution of software solutions across a portfolio of our clients, as well as support solutions previously implemented. You will part of a team that acts as the technical face of the organization, establishing trust with our clients by helping them solve their business problems and improve their processes. Above all else, quality work and client satisfaction are our top priorities.
A Senior Consultant is expected to demonstrate the ability to not only develop software, architect solutions and see projects to completion but to be the trusted advisor to clients by describing solutions and their relative benefit.
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of project delivery implementing or utilizing business-oriented IT/Software solutions within the Energy industry. You would have come from a software development and configuration background with desire to take on complex architectural business problems.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of the APAC Services team from understanding the clients' business requirements all the way to implementation of Quorum's solutions aided by Quorum's quality standards and best practices of the organization
- Work in a team together with Team leads and Project Managers to understand assigned project responsibilities and keep the project on schedule and budget by communicating progress and expectations and escalating issues for awareness and/or resolution
- Implementing/configuring Energy Components, and its affiliate software stack, to meet business requirements at energy companies
- Hands-on in delivery of software, documentation, and projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables.
- Ensure that clients' needs are fulfilled by providing professional high-quality service and assistance before, during and after customer's requirements are met
- Support clients through go-live process and a play key role in promoting solution adoption
- Frequently and proactively communicate project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting, documenting, and interfacing with stakeholders and sponsors
- Solve challenging technical support questions related to the solution suite
- Work effectively across internal departments (product development, solutions architects, quality assurance, sales, marketing)
- Provide solution training to clients and employees
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- University Degree, preferably in a technical or business discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years consulting experience in systems, software or IT related discipline.
- Experience working with Energy Components is desired
- Software implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support
- Experience completing a minimum of 3 implementation projects or equivalent in supporting customer deliverables
- Strong technical skills in Oracle database (PL/SQL) and Java
- Equivalent or adaptable skillset in software implementation and support within the Energy or Resources industry, including AWS, CI/CD toolsets, Agile and Business Process Optimization
- Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development and process mapping
- Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business process challenges
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective internal and customer relationships
- Ability to learn and master new technologies
- Detail oriented and customer focused
- Ability to develop trust with clients, including technical staff and management
- Software implementation background or experience working for a software company
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred Skills
- Oil & Gas domain knowledge with midstream knowledge preferred.
- Energy Components experience as an end-user or software development professional.

- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Australia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
