Our client is a very well-respected medium sized, advisory firm based in Bendigo, VIC. They are currently seeking an experienced Risk professional to come into a Senior Risk and Audit role. Their management style is focused on accountability and building on current capabilities, giving you the opportunity to have ownership of your deliverables and oversee diverse range of products. Along with this, you will help drive the implementation of strategies while providing advice on risk policies at all levels.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct reviews of the existing group risk policies to support the growth of the firm.
- Participate in the development of risk-based internal audit plans and projects.
- Provide Risk and Audit guidance to internal & external stakeholder
- Ensure internal audit processes are delivered incompliance with professional standards, internal audit methodologies, and regulatory requirement.
- Support the non-assurance focus groups to publish guidance, tools, and templates.
- Ability to influence and embed an intelligent risk mindset with employees across all offices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 2 - 4 + years professional services or other relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of risk management fundamentals
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and relationship building skills.
- Proactive and hands-on approach
