Senior Contract Admin

Our client, a highly notable Property Developer and Construction company, seeking a Senior Contract Administrator with a passion for producing great products and contributing to their successful team.

The Role

• Assessment and preparation of progress claims, variation claims, and extensions of time
• Preparation and issuance of tender packages
• Preparation and monitoring of project construction programs
• Negotiation and preparation of contracts for award
• Management of payment claims including the development and implementation of payment processes to ensure all claims and payment schedules meet relevant legislation timeframes
• Review and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and projections in conjunction with the project managers
• Providing support to Project Managers as required
• DA approvals and implementation of feasibilities/ costings

Experience Required:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent highly regarded.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience working in a CA role.
• Strong attention to detail and proven communication skills.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects.
• Proven commercial construction industry experience.
• Expertise in effectively managing and administering both the head contract and subcontracts throughout all phases of a project including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontract management, claims/variation processing, completion, and close out.
• Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety, and time requirements.

Skills & Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent highly regarded.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience working in a CA role.
• Experience working on residential developments and commercial fit-outs
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
