Reporting to the Manager Commercial, as the Senior Contract Administrator you will provide expert advice to the project delivery teams in order for them to deliver the best commercial and contractual outcomes for Powerlink.
Here’s how:
Provide expert commercial support, interpreting contract provisions, resolve claims and questions from contractors.
Detect and analyse possible contractual/commercial problems, proactively driving contract/commercial strategies.
Support the development of dispute resolution strategies and resolve of disputes.
Actively manage and minimise commercial and contract risk by ensuring compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.

Based in Virginia, you will join a high performing team to help develop clever commercial solutions to interesting contractual problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know.
Your expertise
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Business, Contract Management or Law or a closely related field.
Significant experience in providing commercial and contractual administration and advice on linear infrastructure construction projects.
Contract and/or commercial experience on construction projects ideally within the development of high voltage transmission infrastructure in Australia.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating various parties to align on an appropriate commercial solution to complex contractual problems.
Proven abilities to drive innovative commercial and contractual outcomes and strategies within a network business.
We’d also love you to have:
Knowledge in the electricity generation, transmission or distribution industries.
Strong influencing skills and an ability to effectively negotiate outcomes
