About the role
Council is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Contract Construction Manager. Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure Delivery, the primary purpose of the role is to manage the scoping, tender documentation, procurement process and administration of medium to large scale Contract Construction projects of transport and infrastructure on behalf of Council.
About You
You have experience in a similar role, preferably in a Local Government environment. You are a Degree qualified Civil Engineer, Project Manager, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience in the delivery of projects. You have exceptional communication skills and a report writing ability that is second to none.
You enjoy the rigour required throughout the life-span of a project from inception to reflection and are able to prepare specifications, tender documentation, project budgets and programs, and manage construction contracts with ease.
Your communication style is inclusive and your interpersonal skills demonstrate an ability, and a preference, for working collaboratively and with a united purpose.
You have knowledge and understanding of Transport for NSW Technical and Material Specifications or equivalent and a proven ability for managing and supervising contractors and consultants to achieve project targets.
