Bechtel Mining and Metals has an opportunity for an experienced professional to join the team as Senior Contracts Administrator based in Perth.

About the Role:
As Senior Contracts Administrator, your role will entail contract formation and administration duties for both goods and services. You will liaise with project Supply Chain personnel and various other stakeholders, as well as maintain relationships with bidders and contractor personnel.
Responsibilities will include:

-Administer large moderately complex (sub)contracts.
-Administer assigned(sub)contracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties.
-Coordinate with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, (sub)contract performance, (sub)contract administration and other major matters.
-Represents Bechtel in contractual discussions of moderate complexity.
-Prepare and organize assigned Contracts sponsored meetings, both pre and post award.
- Other tasks as designated.
What You Bring:
-Knowledge and experience in the administration of contracts and contract agreements, including types, terms and legal requirements.
-Experience administering moderately complex construction industry (sub)contracts. 
-Able to participate in (sub)contract negotiations.
-Skill in working and informing effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups.
-Knowledge of law, negotiations, accounting or cost engineering gained through education or experience.
-Knowledge and understanding of the project functional groups and company policies, procedures and work practices.
 
Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
