School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. About the role
The Asset Management Unit (AMU) working within the School Infrastructure department is responsible for making learning facilities better for children through delivering new buildings, undertaking maintenance and upgrades with the sole purpose of delivering high quality education.
The role requires the management of established contacts to ensure information is correct, identify and negotiate any changes or modifications and manage stakeholder expectations. You will:
  • Develop and implement management plans to achieve contract outcomes.
  • Coordinate contract administration process in accordance to plans and procedures.
  • Maintain stakeholder relations and provide advice in relation to contracts.

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role responsible for Contract management.
  • Ability to manage multiple consultations and negotiations which involve varying expectations and viewpoints with diverse Stakeholders within set timelines.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and diligence reviewing legislation, policies and guidelines involving contracts.
  • Ability to apply previous knowledge and experience to provide sound and professional outcomes.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the
and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification or Equivalent workplace experience in contract management, project management, business or other related fields.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
