About the teamCore to the functions of the Chief Operations Office (COO) is a focus on customer. We are the engine room of the Group and every single process that we execute has a significant impact on the customer experience. The Group Operations team, the Privacy Program and CBA India are all focused on great customer outcomes. Within COO, the Financial Crime Operations (FCO) team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the Group’s financial crime shared services. We lead the Group’s approach to managing AML/CTF, Sanctions risks and other financial crime obligations.FCO is a team of approx. 2,000 dedicated individuals, and we partner closely with Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and Line 1 Risk teams across the Group. Our external stakeholders are AUSTRAC and Law Enforcement.You will joining the newly formed Change, Capability, Culture and Communications support function within the FCO team. This is a 12 month position and will report directly to the Chapter Area Lead.Do work that mattersAs a Senior People Experience Manager you will focus on shaping and delivering brilliant experiences for our people and in turn enable them to delivery better risk and compliance outcomes for our customers and communities. You will be responsible for leading and executing on both strategic and tactical people and culture initiatives.You will leverage your strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities, innovative thinking to problem solve, ability to influence stakeholders and passion for making people and organisations better to ensure that initiatives are delivered on time and in an impactful and meaningful way.More specifically you will
  • Join the team at a critical and exciting time as we grow - you will play a critical role in shaping our rhythms, purpose, priorities and culture
  • Get the opportunity to broaden your experience in shaping People Experience across Financial Crime Operations located in Australia, New Zealand and India
  • Grow your commercial acumen and operations management capability
  • Lead the design and drive execution of the People Experience portfolio of initiatives
  • Partner with our leaders and support their teams to champion, prioritise and embed initiatives across the People Experience portfolio
  • Build trusted relationships as a true partner with leadership teams across FCO, Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, Learning and Development and various stakeholders across the Group to enable our People Experience strategy and initiatives
  • Manage and lead the development of robust and achievable project plans to manage the delivery and quality of initiatives
  • Facilitate quality decision making with stakeholders and others to manage risks, dependencies and issues
  • Develop strong operating rhythms and project management discipline aligned to agile ways of working
  • Provide thought leadership and research related to operational excellence, capability uplift, employee engagement and experience design

  • An appetite to learn and evolve in all aspects of People Experience design, operational excellence, capability, service, product and leadership
  • Naturally curious with a focus on understanding why balanced with pragmatism in problem solving and project execution
  • Passion for providing teams with mentorship, direction, leadership and support necessary to ensure they are able to accomplish their goals

  • Demonstrated application of project management methodologies in an agile environment on large scale projects

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding or experience in operational teams
  • Demonstrated experience working in one or more of the following: project management, change management, experience design, content design, learning and development, communications, digital, contact centre or human resources
