Position Overview:

We are looking for an immediate start. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer at Site Automation, you'll be based in Brisbane, working closely with our management team. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovative solutions for our clients, requiring self-motivation, attention to detail, and adept project management skills in a dynamic environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our projects by:

• Collaborating with our team to design and implement automation solutions using PLC platforms, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Leading projects from conception to handover, ensuring a seamless process.
• Generating clear and comprehensive technical documentation and reports to facilitate project management and handover.
• Adhering to all company processes, policies, and procedures, including health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Over five (5) years of experience, demonstrating strong documentation skills and reliability.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on growth and innovation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A valid Driver's License.

Desirable Skills:

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is advantageous:

• Working with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems such as PlantSCADA (CitectSCADA) and FactoryTalk View Suite.
• Proficiency in Virtualization technologies like VMWare.
• Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, E-plan, etc.
• Background in industries like Manufacturing, Mining, Water, and Food and Beverage.
• Registration with Engineers Australia.
