GR Production Services have an opportunity for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing Brisbane team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the control, instrument, and metering systems across the Moranbah Gas Project (MGP). You will aid in the development of the overall facility strategy while overseeing the delivery of all upgrades, preventative and reactive maintenance, commissioning and operations of new systems and controls as required.
Due to the nature of this position, it is best suited to someone with experience in similar lead or senior positions.
Please note, this position will require travel to the Moranbah Gas Plant, please consider this prior to applying.
Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the implementation of GRPS HSEQ KPIs and HSEQ objectives.
- Providing technical support to resolve operational and maintenance issues
- Developing engineering change packages and monitoring the execution of engineering change activities. Ensuring technical standards are maintained.
- Understanding the regulatory regime and design standards applicable to hydrocarbon operations.
- Conducting studies of control and instrumentation equipment performance.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline
- Charted Professional Engineer
- RPEQ Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry.
- Familiarity with Honeywell DCS, Allen Bradley PLC, HIMA Safety Platfom etc
