Senior Cost Controller

Linkforce is a leading integrated maintenance, engineering, and project services delivery business. Founded in 2007, Linkforce started with a small crew of shutdown specialists and a single utility operating in the Pilbara. Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 2,800 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Cost Controller to join our Projects Division. Based at our new CBD head office, this position is offered on a full time permanent basis.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:  

• Setting up and maintaining cost budgets for projects in Pronto based on tender submissions and estimates
• Preparation of internal and client invoicing and supporting documentation
• Maintain all cost commitments, including review of internal and 3rd party costs
• Prepare monthly cost forecasts and assist in producing monthly Contract Status Reports for each project
• Provide cost control support and assistance, including project close out and lessons learnt reviews
• Input client variations and maintain current contract value and budgets
• Review of requisitions and commitments for compliance to project cost coding
• Prepare consolidated project invoicing forecasts for finance
• Closeout projects upon completion
• Assist with office and site timekeeping systems and reporting

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a Cost Controller or similar role
• Tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, engineering, law, project management, finance/accounting, business studies or related discipline
• Understanding and application of project cost management principles
• Strong data and communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.
• High levels of computer literacy including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and reporting systems like Pronto, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Active participation in departmental goals, objectives, and projects
• Experience working for a construction contractor in the mining/resources industry is highly desirable
