Description
Directly reporting to the Head of Credit and working closely with brokers and borrowers, this role will attend to all matter of credit, including, but not limited to
- Setting up and maintaining current files
- Liaising with brokers and borrowers about their loans
- Instructing lawyers on new files
- Working closely with the investments team to ensure successful mortgage outcomes.
- Drafting mortgage documents
- Managing administrative staff on the credit side
- Instructing and reviewing valuations
- Attending to security documents post settlement.
- Maintaining compliance requirements
- Liaising with lawyers in each step of the process
Profile
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in credit analysis, preferably within a non-bank lending environment and within the property/mortgage space. They will be familiar with credit assessments, property lending, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. They will have great attention to detail, work with a sense of urgency and be able to work within a team environment.
