The Opportunity
The Senior Credit Controller is an integral role within the business and is responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts, the management of risk, building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers whilst adhering to company policies.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of accounts and achieving monthly targets.
- Ensuring customers are aware of their trading terms and other related issues with their accounts.
- Reconciling accounts and resolving any account relates disputes.
- Processing account application forms and data maintenance.
- Communicating with all stakeholders ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Assessing credit limits on new and existing accounts.
- Timely collection of outstanding accounts.
- Maintaining current account reconciliations and working within customer portals as required.
- Account maintenance and dispute resolution.
About You
We are looking for an organised individual, who can multi-task, stay motivated under pressure, and maintain a high-level of attention to detail.
Ideally, you will currently be working as a Credit Controller, with at least 3 years of experience in the role. The preferred candidate for this role is a team player with the following skills and traits:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal & written.
- Ability to resolve issues and solve problems.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable procedures
- You are computer & system savvy (Oracle and D365 - highly regarded).
- An understanding of Competition & Consumer Act, Privacy Act & PPSA.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
