Who We Are
The Cyber Security Unit (CSU) is responsible for progressing government cyber security capability. This team provides cyber security leadership, strategy, governance, policy and standards, advocacy, capability development, security incident coordination as well as managing a number of whole of Government threat management services.

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Program Manager to analyse the critical cyber security needs of the diverse Queensland government entities served by CSU, influence the executive and technical decision makers, and manage and drive adoption of the delivery of CSU services.

Who you are.
You will be an adept Cyber Program and project leader and have experience managing the delivery of engagement programs and technical service delivery programs. You will pride yourself on your excellent project management skills, and your ability to effectively prioritise tasks, manage resources, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
You will have analytical, conceptual, and innovative problem solving, research and process analysis and improvement skills to identify optimal mitigations and responses to business risks associated with cyber threats.
In this pivotal role, you will not merely manage but guide and influence. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication, consultation and negotiation skills who can understand technical complexity and offer solutions that creates buy in from stakeholders with varying technical and non-technical backgrounds.
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
You will demonstrate probity and professionalism through effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and uphold behaviours aligned to QGCDG's values of Customers First, Ideas into Action, Unleash Potential, Be Courageous and Empower People.
