What you’ll be doing
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Centre Engineer with strong experience in deployment and administration of enterprise storage and compute environments.
Someone who is proactive and loves problem solving and improving client systems. Working in high performance team, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining data center platforms and hardware for one of our most prestigious customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work as SME for deployments of infrastructure and platforms
- Maintain and enhance systems and services.
- Provide advice along with other team members on appropriate solutions for our customers.
- Ensure availability, capacity and performance of all data center services.
- Provide on premise support for projects and other support teams where needed, and, support the automation of solutions for common problems and help find innovative ways to resolve issues.
- Work closely with our client, vendors, partners and team mates to ensure the diverse staff profile is catered for.

- Based in Perth

What will make you successful in this role?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within consulting/professional services/managed services industry.
- Experience in deployment of new infrastructure and ongoing administration.
- Strong report writing, communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive problem solver who can develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
- It is desirable the candidate has experience in most of the below:
- NetApp, Pure Storage
- Dell HCI, Cisco UCS
- VMware, NSX & VSAN
- Strong understanding of networking
- Windows Server
- Commvault backup
- ITIL Foundation or above
- Worked in an enterprise environment – 25,000 seats
