About the Role:
We are currently seeking an IT System Administrator at our head office in Ingleburn. You will work within an IT team to provide support to all staff throughout Australia.
Prior experience in a similar role is important. You will also be hungry to learn from those around you and to succeed in the role. Your experience is ideally gained in a business model containing remote users to support, centralised data centre along with inhouse and SaaS products. Processes must be adhered to whilst being outcome driven and adapting positively to change.
This role will suit someone with a strong analytical and problem-solving skill and the ability to work in a friendly yet demanding support environment. To ensure optimal support for users based across Australia, flexibility in working hours when required is expected. Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and support the network infrastructure, server infrastructure, storage, and data communications;
- Provide second level support and incident resolution to the service desk;
- Perform troubleshooting to identify potential risks and attempt to eliminate them ideally before they occur;
- Conduct cyber security related activities (e.g. patching, monitoring)
- Assist in projects where your technical expertise is required
Essential Technical Requirements:
- Technology experience: VMWare, Veeam, Cisco, Azure, AD, Office365
- Computer patching, system and server lifecycle management
- Computer imaging using Autopilot
- Experience in VLAN, LAN and WAN and their associated security
- Windows OS and Office365 environment
- Bonus: Trend Micro, Mitel, Fortinet experience
- Excellent communications skills; able to articulate problems in business speak
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Customer service minded, patient and considerate
- Minimum of 3 year’s work experience in a similar role
- Industry certifications in networking and server fields
- General working knowledge of ITIL processes
