Grampians Health (GH) was established in 2021 and brought together Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital, Stawell Regional Health, Wimmera Health Care Group and Ballarat Health Services. The formation followed years of strong collaboration and partnerships between the four health services. Its objective is to provide complete care as close as possible to people’s homes by providing greater access, less waiting time and enhanced specialist services across the region. This will be achieved through a combination of a highly skilled and engaged workforce and by utilising the best available technology. The establishment of GH is a positive step towards improving healthcare access and outcomes in the Grampians region.
