As a Senior Database Administrator, it will give you a tremendous opportunity to work with some of the capital market’s largest players while developing a team delivering extraordinary operational services. What you will do

  • Work together with the team to design, implement, and handle systems that deliver against requirements for functionality, scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Serve as a technical escalation point for critical production issues and drive customer concern/resolution of problems into Support and Engineering teams.

  • Adopt, customize, and implement industry-standard in Handling Databases in Cloud Infrastructure -- Create and maintain automated scripts that will build, configure, deploy, and test applications databases to different environments; maintain, support, and enhance our continuous integration environment.

  • Work hands-on with the Database systems, install and configure it, and test that it meets the customer’s technical and business requirements.

  • Support and interact with clients to handle Production Environments and ensure availability of the Database infrastructure. Triage and analyze issues, including performance and connectivity issues

  • Create and document processes and standards.

  • Participate in DR tests to maintain high levels of readiness to ensure business continuity.

What We Expect

  • BS and/or MS in Computer Science or related field

  • At least 10+ years in a SaaS environment for a managed infrastructure or cloud-based solution

  • Good knowledge of public cloud architecture (OCI, AWS)

  • Must have experience on Experience with Oracle RAC 19c and Multitenant database environments. Good interpersonal and communications skills, with an ability to communicate in non-technical terms to non-technical people

  • Experience with RMAN backup and restore and Handling Oracle tools.

  • Strong analytical skills and a familiarity with problem-solving, attention to detail and quality, and a desire for improvement

  • Handling large database estates 100+ databases.

  • Knowledge of DBA tasks -- schema management, tablespace management, jobs management, pdbs management

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Unix Shell must to have skill set.

  • Working knowledge of with PostgreSQL, Red Hat Linux, Windows server.

  • Must have a basic understanding of Exadata Management and support

  • Basic understanding of OCI/AWS migration skills

  • A passion for providing excellent service to all internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.


Our work arrangement is hybrid. You will be coming into the office just 2 days per week.
