Senior Desktop Soe Engineer

Compas is seeking a Senior Desktop SOE Engineerto join a Federal Government Department for a long-term engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Desktop Standard Operating Environments including design, configuration, deployment, technical security and operation of desktop components.

• Initial contract till June 2025 + extensions
• NV1 Clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Canberra – Brisbane – Melbourne - Adelaide

Responsibilities

• Provide third level support for users and managed personal computing devices.
• Provide broad technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
• Monitor, tune and maintain ICT software components and perform system testing.
• Liaise with the infrastructure team in the design, procurement and deployment of hardware and related assets.
• Schedule and perform regular maintenance and updating of supported products.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM, Intune, Active Directory
• Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VB Script).
