Position Overview and Duties
Reporting to the Lead Developer, the Senior Developer is responsible for providing expert technical development and support of Business Applications of the Courts including:
- High-level development of software solutions.
- Working within project team(s) to design, develop, integrate and support applications and components in line with court requirements.
- Analysis of upgrade paths, enhancements and effort estimates.
- Coordination of changes with relevant test, security, development, vendor and other teams.
- Adhere to the Court's change management, security, release, maintenance policies and procedure including ITIL framework.
Selection Criteria
1. Experience as a senior .NET developer with demonstrated skills in:
a. C# Net Core web application development
b. Applying software design patterns
c. Creating Asp.net web API ‘s and integrating services
d. Experience working with databases, ideally Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL
2. High-level ability to understand complex technical environments and work to design robust, practical and supportable solutions.
3. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to meet business and technical objectives.
4. The IT Division is geographically dispersed and experience in working in such teams is essential.
Other Requirements
Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications in IT would be well regarded.

Eligibility

Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
