SalaryOur Global Telco client is currently looking for a talented Senior Developer - System & Network Automation to join their team in Sydney. Offering hybrid working arrangements the position is an initial 6-month contract to roll on for a duration of 3 years, paying a competitive daily rate.
The role will be primarily hands on along with:
- Guiding Junior developers on understanding of network alarm management and automation of faults/incidents
- Gain understanding of use cases by studying design and high-level specifications
- Collaborate with product manager/owner, scrum masters, architects and designers
- Understand detailed design requirements and user stories (agile methodology)
- Develop custom software solution or/and additional translation layers (interfaces) aimed to automate customer networks as defined in detailed design
- Prepare solution validation strategy and test list
- Development expertise on BPMN workflow using modeler and Camunda Workflow Engine
- Programming experience - Core Java, Drools, Groovy scripting & Apache NiFi
- Programming experience - MongoDB/MySQL, React, Typescript, Python, NodeJS
- Programming experience using REST, SOAP and SSH protocols.
- Other experience - Gitlab/Harbor/Vault/Ansible/CICD pipelines/Allure reporting/bootstrap
- Experience in SDLC and required tools like docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with scripting languages like Python (preferred), Perl / Shell (Linux / Unix).
