scouted. have once again partnered closely with a Developer who in recent years has outrun and outbid more experienced, established and notable developers for a multitude of land acquisitions. With projects in all key growth corridors of Victoria; this role will take the lead on a newly secured mixed-use community project (land, townhomes, commercial, retail, social infrastructure + more) in the Western Suburbs. This will no doubt be considered one of the State's most noteworthy projects, due to its partnership structure and major impact on the surrounding and broader communities. You will be supported by a highly capable and experienced leadership team as well as in-house sales and marketing, acquisitions, operations & finance Teams.Your Responsibilities:
Reporting to Senior Management, key tasks associated with this role will included, but not be limited too:
- Prepare and maintain a program from concept to completion of each project stage to establish milestones and critical dates
- Manage key stakeholder relationships including engagement with local council, project partners, project consultants and state government departments
- Co-ordinate with consultants the preparation of the design brief and monitor during the design development process
- Prepare and manage the financial performance of the project by closely monitoring its feasibility and budgets against set objectives and outcomes
- Manage all aspects of project delivery including financial performance, reporting, budgeting, risk assessment, monthly review and cash flow management
- Contribute to the management of the sales and marketing operations for the project.
- Facilitate the guidance and mentoring of your team which in time will include an Assistant Development Manager and Development Manager
- 10 -15 years’ experience in Development and at least 1-2 years as a Senior Development Manager
- Demonstrated success in delivering residential greenfield and broad-acre subdivisions within Melbourne or Regional Victoria
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, Planning, Engineering or any other related field
- Strong financial acumen, well-versed in the use of Estate Master and project cashflows
- To demonstrate and insist upon the highest levels of integrity from yourself and the project team
