The Gig
Working within the property development division, which has an exciting plan for growth over the coming years, an exciting opportunity has become available for a highly professional, strategic, innovative, and analytical Senior Development Manager to play a senior role in the team.
You will join a business who invest in exceptional opportunities across Sydney. Existing developments have already been executed in growth belts across Western Sydney over the last 10 years, with other projects currently in feasibility through to delivery stage as the business continues to expand.
Your primary goal is simple – You will identify, plan, and execute opportunities that meet market demand, create value, and contribute to the growth and improvement of the development area in scope.
Based in Sydney CBD, and reporting to the Managing Director, you will ply your trade to conduct market research to identify opportunities, secure financing, manage the design and construction process, drive accountability for regulatory compliance, and ultimately deliver profitable and high-quality properties that align with the community's needs and expectations.
You will be trusted with:
- Supervising development infrastructure, design, legal, and planning aspects
- Conducting feasibility analysis and reviewing quarterly forecasts
- Offering recommendations and determining final design and development parameters
- Collaborating with pertinent councils on project-related affairs.
- Maintaining adherence to project budgets, forecasts, and feasibility goals
- Contributing to brand development strategies
- Ensuring seamless project execution within timeframes, budgets, and quality measures
- Attaining and maintaining profitability goals
- Managing budgeting and forecasting
- Reviewing building designs and establishing procedures for risk mitigation
- Overseeing contract administration
- Efficiently managing residential project approval and planning phases
- Maintaining workplace health and safety compliance
- Fostering collaboration with stakeholders and internal departments
You will also have 10 + years as a Development Manager, and have full lifecycle development experience.
