Successful scale-up business which has been in operation for over 5 years. Complete Work-from-home available, but MUST be based in SYDNEY and available for at least fortnightly in-person meetings.

The Role
At a high-level, the role involves designing, implementing and maintaining the company’s cloud-based infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, EFS, Route 53, IAM, etc.).
It's a broad position and you will work with the development team as well as the co-founders, identifying & deploying cyber security measures, creating & maintaining security policies and much more!
You will be a senior, experienced DevOps Engineer, who is able to work in a less mature environment. Therein lies the opportunity. So if you thrive in an environment where you like to have some autonomy and ability to come up with ways to increase efficiency, reduce risk etc., then this role is for you!
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior DevOps Engineer role, with experience in AWS
- Experience with AWS Security services and other cyber security tools/products, including AWS IAM
- Ability to identify & deploy cybersecurity measures (i.e. vulnerability assessments and risk management)
- Proven experience building CI/CD Pipelines
- Ability to create and maintain security policies
- Experience with Linux based infrastructure and scripting (Bash, Shell)
- Tertiary Degree in IT or other relevant discipline
- Industry Certifications, such as AWS etc., where relevant, are advantageous
- You MUST Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered
